Thoughts on Immateriality – .. In a Spiritual Rain

How Can We Imagine Immateriality?

Today, I would like to raise the question of how we can imagine immateriality. Many of us, especially spiritual people, face the challenge of understanding the connection between the mind and matter. Can the mind influence matter without being directly connected to it? These considerations lead to fundamental questions about our perception and reality.

The Role of Consciousness in Reality

Consciousness is seen here as the ultimate sensory organ. It creates images and influences how we perceive the world. Our conception of eyes, body, and matter may be correct, but these images are not the only ones that the mind can create. If we are open to different perspectives, we recognize that reality arises through our thoughts and is not separate from us.

There are rules in the world of consciousness that shape our perception. Nevertheless, the idea remains intriguing that thoughts play a crucial role – they can create reality instead of merely being passive observations.

The Seven Principles of Immateriality

1. Thoughts are reality: What we think becomes our reality.
2. Consciousness is central: It is the tool through which reality is shaped.
3. Images are mutable: Mental perception is not limited to a single form.
4. Rules of the thought world: The world of consciousness has its own set of laws.
5. Connection between mind and matter: This connection is not always directly visible.
6. The power of mindset: Our attitudes influence how we perceive reality.
7. Unity of thought and being: Mind and reality are inseparably connected.

These principles help to compare and question materialism and spirituality.

The Importance of Nature and Religion

Nature plays a special role in this way of thinking. Rain, trees, and the environment are perceived as expressions of a higher form of thinking. This connection shows how deeply we are imbued by nature. It represents an endless source of inspiration.

Religions like Buddhism contribute to these considerations. In particular, the concept of emptiness – an undefinable possibility behind everything – provides room for interpretation. Even if emptiness is not understood as absolute, it can reveal a deeper connection between consciousness and reality.

The interplay of thoughts, religion, and nature opens new ways of understanding the world. It shows that reality and thought are not separate but mutually dependent.
